OLEV (HM Office of Low Emission Vehicles)

The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) is a team working across government to support the early market for ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEV). OLEV are providing over £900 million to position the UK at the global forefront of ULEV development, manufacture and use. This will contribute to economic growth and will help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution on our roads.

RVC Electrical as an approved EV charging point installer is registered with OLEV to help provide government grants for those looking for both Domestic and Commercial Electric Vehicle charging points.

National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors Domestic Installer

We are both registered as Approved Contractors (for commercial/industrial sector) and Domestic installers (for household installations) with the NICEIC.

IPAF (International Powered Access Federation)

All of our electrical staff are holders of IPAF powered access licences and are fully trained to use powered access equipment including fixed and mobile scissor lifts and boom platforms.

Construction Line

RVC Electrical is a member of Constructionline which is designed to simplify the process for customers and suppliers. Developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI), the question set is the common minimum standard for construction procurement.

Constructionline work to the PAS 91 enhanced questionnaire. The platform shows that a supplier is fit-to-supply. They will appear as ‘validated’ on all buyer searches.

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)

The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certifies, quality assures and provides consumer protection for microgeneration installations and installers. These consist of small scale renewable electricity technologies such as solar PV, biomass, wind, heat pumps and heat products.

Once For All Health & Safety

Once For All Health & Safety SSIP is our health and safety certification scheme. Once For All carry out an assessment of RVC Electrical's health and safety documentation and work activities as an independent competent assurance of the systems we have in place.
